A Little History

I started my business 16 years ago on a wing and a big prayer. My first shop was a borrowed shop from a good friend. It had no insulation and no heat. Keeping warm required working hard.

My first job was with Simplot Soilbuilders. I designed, fabricated, and painted a tower rail car cross over. After finishing the first one I was contracted to do two more. I was on my way. I moved into a rented shop on Jones Ave., about the size of a two car garage. The previous owner was a porcelain doll maker and the wall paper was of dolls. It didn’t take long to get them dirty with smoke. After about ten years we were lucky to find a old Quonset. With a little bit of paint and cement we had a new place to carry on with business.

I had a good name with one of the big companies here in town, Idaho Steel. They would send me all the small stuff they didn’t want to be bothered with.

I started doing welding with Pioneer Equipment and to this day they are one of my bigger contracts. I do work for some of the best homebuilders here in Eastern Idaho, including:
R.Jay Taylor Construction, Regal Construction, Ben Stallings Construction, Inc., Platinum Construction, and Horizon Home Builders.

Other customers I am proud to work for are:
Northwest Cosmetics, Leonard’s Petroleum, Triple A Sewer, Hathaway and Sons Trucking, Melaleuca, Inc., and others.

Please enjoy my site, and feel free to call with any questions or comments you may have.

Morgan Pull

Morgan was the first Pull of 2008. Morgan, Utah is up the Ogden canyon. Very pretty little town off the freeway.
Dell has built this truck from the ground up. It is his second truck. I'll tell you about the first one later.

3rd Degree has a tube frame he designed instead of using pipe or angle. He built a Blown motor and it runs well. I cant tell you all the specs because all I know is its black with a red inset and it screams down the track.

We took first in Morgan and then first again in John Day Oregon. This week end we are in Idaho Falls and then next weekend in Elko, NV. I will be glad to take a few week off and get the lawn mowed. Enjoy
